Araceli Biosciences Appoints Dr. Tim Spicer to Scientific Advisory Board

PORTLAND, OR – July 31st — Araceli Biosciences, a leading innovator in high-content imaging and data-driven drug discovery tools, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Spicer, Ph.D., to its Scientific Advisory Board.

Dr. Spicer brings more than three decades of experience advancing high-throughput screening (HTS), assay development, and translational drug discovery. He currently serves as Co-Director of the High Throughput Screening Center at the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, where he leads HTS biology efforts within the Department of Molecular Medicine.

Since joining Scripps Florida at its inception in 2005, Dr. Spicer has played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge screening platforms, implementing novel assay technologies, and integrating automation and real-time analytics to accelerate drug discovery. Prior to Scripps, he spent nearly a decade at Bristol-Myers Squibb contributing to early-stage development across a range of therapeutic areas. Dr. Spicer has authored over 150 scientific publications and holds eight U.S. patents, several of which have led to clinically approved therapies.
